No matter how much better they are now-a-days, I don't think I'll ever be spending any money on a Hyundai.  I just can't get past it being...well...a Hyundai.

In the past, I "use to" always say, no one drives a Hyundai because they want to...

No offense to the Hyundai owners here, but...to each their own.

The Scion will no doubt be the cheapest incarnation of the chassis...and initially, they will be mostly the same as far as power for the 1st model year introduction for sure....but since it is mostly a Subie spec motor, whom do you think will come out with a performance version faster? The STi guys or the TRD guys?...my money is on the BR-Z....the FR-S will probably do the standard Toyota bolt on supercharger that they have done with a few other models....

I got to see the pricing on the FR-S today.  It will be revealed to the public tomorrow, so my lips are sealed. 

However, I will give you this in regards to the pricing:  ;D :o [thumbsup] [bow_down] [thumbsup] ;D

As far as a turbo or supercharger is concerned, it won't be a simple bolt on.  The compression ratio of the motor is north of 12:1, so internal mods will be needed if you want to pressurize it.  It will also require premium fuel.

Tell me about it! It's finally sitting right around 80-81 yen to dollar. The past few months it's been ~75. When I got here in Mar '10, it was around 95-98!!!
