My son (4) was fiddling with the safe.  It's a slim box on the wall in our bedroom.  He was trying to open it and Mrs Ducatiz asked him what he wanted and he said "i want to shoot daddy's gun"..  I made a sweep of the house to make sure everything was secure again and that both of the home defense devices were inaccessible.  I have a shotgun I need to secure too and that will be difficult to keep it quickly accessible.

If you have young kids, I recommend a fingerprint safe.  Takes about 2 seconds to open.  Mall mount it so the finger sensor is up top and it flops open.. very fast

Picked up Springfield XD 9mm today.  I have to wait 24 hours because some fool somewhere did something dirty with my good name.

UPDATE!!!!
My class III tax stamp came in!!!!! I picked up my first suppressor. I bought a Silenserco Sparrow 22 for my Browning Buckmark .22. Here are a few pics.






So far it has been great! I can shoot this thing anywhere without anyone knowing. It is awesome!

PS: it is approved for the FN 5-7 round as well!

That's awesome- I looked at the Sparrow.  I really liked the multi part takedown system.  I wanted a K-baffle for less FRP, so I went with the Genesis. 

Doing a form 4 for a Thomson Machine Isis 9mm this week for my SBR/G17.

How long did your stamp take?
