He's better than the bike is.

Thanks all  Sorry though.  I meant the bike and I are ok. Neither too bent up. A lot of cosmetic on both of us. The mrs doesn't ride.

Amazing though how light the motorcycle was though when I picked it up from the road. Adrenaline rush!!

One second riding and the next second..sliding!  Happened instantly. In that second, I thought.."holy shit..I'm sliding!" and then I thought..oh shit..in going to get run over!!  Stop sliding and get to bike!

Yup, one second you're on the bike, the next you're not!

What's making the bike unrideable? I.E. what do you need?

I didn't roll though. I slid across wet pavement about 12' along the drive. Even though the wet pavement caused it, glad it was wet.   Luckily, the cars behind were at the red light a ways back!!

I have two tank dings on right side. One from the pavement and one from handlebar. Foot peg on right snapped in half. The foot brake is crunched into bike. The handlebar is bent on right. Sil megaphone on right is scuffed along whole pipe. I don't know what else?  I have to get pics. I got it home. Happened about a mile from home after just riding 15 or so miles in rain from work.

No bees!   


Just went out to try to take pics about with my baby and was swarmed by birds that are above our apt trying to protect their nest!!

Good, sounds easy enough to repair, except for the Sil. Gonna be able to find a replacement for that?

Hmm..Maybe just buff it out and paint the pipes all black but leave stainless tips.
