Hi all. I've been lurking since before I bought my Monster at the end of February and I thought it was high time I said hi.

I bought myself a new (well, a demo with 44 miles) 796ABS from AMS in Dallas and I love it more than I would've imagined. I had never been on a bike before I bought it, but an MSF course and a few terrifying start up rides were enough to sink the hook in deep.

Now that my feet are wet and the weather is nice I rarely see the car. I have to thank everyone for the great posts in the Mods, Tutorials and Tech sections. The information there has been invaluable as I've tinkered.

I put Rizoma indicators and a CW eliminator on the bike to clean it up a bit, but thats it. I know the first thing you'll demand is pictures, but I haven't taken the camera out with me. Perhaps that's a project for the weekend. Until then I will at least provide the obligatory beer.
