Great back handed reference to the joke on the DMF Joke Thread (page 78) about the lawyer taking the poor, homeless families back to his place... where the grass is a foot tall! [laugh] [laugh]

It would be a hoot to show some zombies doing yard work in the background of a scene. Maybe on roller skates taking orders at a Sonic!! [laugh] [laugh]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

The zombie virus also stunts the grass growth.

Like it's not obvious.  [roll]

so a zombie pushing a lawnmower would not be out of place!

alternatively, zombies graze when brains are in short supply

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Like the zombie cow in the scene when Darrel got it.... "graaaaaaiiiiiiins!" [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] That still cracks me up! [cheeky]

The Woodsman Pal in one hand and this manually operated ultimate zombie defense tool in the other! Quiet, effective... for those close encounters with the un-dead kind! [thumbsup] [popcorn] [bacon]

I can accept the zombies because it's the premise. It's fantasy, you can set whatever rules you want as long as you follow them.
the problem is they have also set it up with normal everyday rules (aside from the whole becoming a zombie thing)

I can dig it.  The whole zombie thing is really a sideshow, just like being in space was a sideshow for Firefly.  Take some ordinary, likely dumbass, people and put them into an extraordinary situation so they can be bigger dumbasses to others. From what I recall, everything in TWD related to human/zombie interaction is pretty fanciful and ad hoc, while human/human interaction is more realistic.

I don't know.  I guess I wasn't expecting it to be a documentary.

Ah finally got to see the last episode.   What's your take on the armless, mouthless zombie slaves of ninja chick?  Finally some one else smart enough to use an eternal weapon.  Yup more holes and idiot decisions.  RV guy, yea let me go near the door after the 2 jumped on instead of driving away... that's a great idea...

Uncle Mofo

Arm-less, mouth-less zombies I don't think it would work. Even without arms and a jaws I think they would still try to attack and eat you.   [popcorn]

If you want to spoil it, either read the comic books or the TWD Wiki. They'll explain it in there...

Hmmm... do you think they'd mind if I bring an AR-15 and a woodman's pal for close encounters? [laugh] [popcorn]

well not good news we may not have anymore walkers

It wasn't that long ago that Dish Network was proudly offering AMC HD to its customers (especially since DirecTV didn't, which has since been rectified) but now the company is willing to let the network's contract expire this summer, taking new episodes of Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead away from subscribers. The source of the sudden animosity, according to a press release from AMC, is continuing litigation between it and Dish Network over dropping the Voom HD channels back in 2008, leading to them going dark soon after. The LA Times reports Dish Network claims the denial of its appeal on a decision in the case has nothing to do with its sudden change of heart is solely about AMC's high renewal cost for a relatively low viewership. Whatever you believe, the sniping and threats will likely continue right up until the contract runs out June 30th, which is at least long enough for this season of Mad Men to finish on its own.
