I got one of those little boxes too!  Love me some coffee. I will make a  to take to the HOA meeting tonight. The wonderful scent will lull the BOD into submission!

So there was a mysterious box on the porch this afternoon, with a return address from Nueske's Smoked Meats of Wisconsin on it. No one in the house knew anything about it, but it WAS addressed to me. Opened it up, dug past three or four cold packs and uncovered this:



and a note from Vindingo, mentioning that there was also some wood on the way. I'd knocked out a couple of forged pieces for him, and said it'd be a fair swap if he had some scraps of interesting hardwoods I could use for knife handles.

While applewood was one of the hardwoods I mentioned, I never quite imagined it in this form.

I posted a photo of a turntable in the Crafty Bastards thread and I get a PM from ZILBERT.

Ryan hooked me up with some super cool speaker wires!  At first I wasn't sure if speaker wires could be cool... yea these look killer! Way better than what I have now.   



I haven't had time to see if I can hear a difference yet, but I am looking forward to it.
