Ooops, back to pics... enough talk. Thought this was the Gun Stuff thread. [bang]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

Out in the open hunting off a feeder I think a hot .40S&W or .357mag minimum, maybe a .45acp or a .44mag in pistol would be OK. But personally, I'd go shotgun slug or any decent centerfire rifle round.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Have you shot that 327 on the bags for accuracy or ran it across the chrono?  I'm really interested in what it will do.  I have a 10" Single Six in 32 H&R Mag that is an astounding little gun - the 327 should be even more so.
I did a crono shoot with Federal Hydoshock and Federal soft points. Both were between 1398 and 1420. I have not set any bags up yet, but with a SA shot it is dead on! I did not get any grouping data.
It will also shoot the 32 H&R mag and 32 S&W Long. It is fun to shoot the H&R Mag round with this gun. There is no real recoil to speak of.
The 327 is more gun than I thought it would be! ;D

can't tell on my phone-- mossberg 500 ?

you'll put that rifle butt on and lose the PG pretty soon if you try it.  the PG is fun but not too practical nor useful.  can't aim and with the full length barrel its not concealable.  pay the tax and get a 12" bbl and the PG has value.

Yes, it's a 500.  I figured we'd play around with it in PG form then put the shoulder butt on.  Now the tax & a 12" shorty sounds like a fun idea!

Yes, ditch the pistol grip. They look cool in movies but are not so useful in real world applications. If you were in the military or on a SWAT team and just wanted to use it for door breaching rounds and need the compact feature then it would be perfect. Not so much for actual aimed, sighted fire. If you are into trench coats they are also good for robbing convenience stores! [laugh]

Out of the 10" barrel of the single six with 12 grains of LilGun powder and an 85 grain XTP, I'm getting 1550 with the 32 H&R.  That long pipe makes a massive difference, but its awful cumbersome.
3 grains of Tightgroup and a 95 grain hollowbase wadcutter gave 1145 out of that long barrel - in a 4" gun it probably wouldn't make 900.  I bet that 327 in a 10" would make 1750 - 1800fps.  I think that little S&W Scandium revolver in 327 would make a tremendous lightweight carry gun.  I wonder if Marlin will come out with a levergun for it like they did for the 32 H&R.  One of them with a 16" tube would be a really zippy little carbine.

If anyone ever makes a 327 lever action carbine I will own one! [thumbsup]

This is my favorite 22. I have this rifle dialed in! It is a Talo Ruger 10-22 US shooting team target rifle.
