Hi guys, I bought my first duc ( 09 1100s ) a few weeks ago and is time for some some upgrades. Im looking for an exhaust sustem 1st. Has anyone tried to fit an evo exhaust on a non evo model? If so will in work?. It looks like the subframes are the same. I'm not sure if the cylinders and exhaust ports are the same. I know the part numbers are not going to be the same. I'm asking if someone has tried it and if it will work or not. I thought I read a post about this, but I can't find it.

My next question, has anyone used Pro-Taper or Renthal mx bars? Can anyone tell me the Handel bar clamp dia. I want to change the bars, but I don't know what size I can get away with. I looked at a few other brands on a few of the "monster" stores, but I was wondering about my options.

Oh and I'm looking for a belly pan. Can anyone tell me were I can find this belly pan?

Thanks for any help.

the evo exhaust should fit but you would probably need to swap out the rear frame to get the holes and mounting points for the exhaust hanger unless you plan to run an aftermarket setup

I think the heat sheilding on the bottom of the fuel tank is different as well though.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going to go with a Zard or Arrow full system for the 09.   The bike was for sale in Houston tx a few weeks ago. I called to buy it, but they were doing the paper work when I called. So I bought one here in DFW. Thanks against to the info, I hope to be ordering some parts in the next week or so.
