Hi Im Chito from the Philippines... I plan to buy a Brand new 2012 Monster 795 soon...

Any issues on this model that I should know?

Will the accessories for the 696 fit this 795?

Thanks.

L let u know soon! I already bought the bike but still parked at the dealers. I had an arrangement with them since my parking space is not so ideal for a Ducati.  And they agreed. L be using the bike for a few months before thinking of modifying it.

Welcome  [beer]

I love it when people start the mod proccess before they get their keys ;D [thumbsup]

EDIT: if you check out accessories on Ducati.com they usually list the bikes that the parts will fit on. This is often also the case for aftermarket manufacturers/shops. I think most 696 and 795 parts are the same.

Hi Chito,

Glad I read your post as I didn't know Ducati made the 795.

Looks like it is the engine from the 796 (stroked version of the 696 engine which also leads to higher compression) in a 696 (i.e. the double sided rear swing arm).
The rear sprocket is a different size and I am not sure about the handlebars (I think 796 has an alloy bar but the 696 I am told still has steel (my 2010 model does)).  Aside from that the bikes are very modular, as previously mentioned though, if you haven't checked already the Ducati website is a good place to confirm the fitment for the latest models.

Cheers.
