Looks like something Boba Fett would wear.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It's a Schuberth S1 carbon - nice! (BMW just rebadge them)

I'd gladly donate but I gave all I could for an engagement ring  ;D

Are you sure about that?  The shell looks to be a different shape.  The Schuberth is said to weigh ~1300 grams, the BMW less than 1000 grams.  I don't think its the same helmet.
Sold: 2007 S2R1000 for canyon carving and commuting - DP ECU, PCIII, BMC air filter with open box, Zard full exhaust, Race-tech fork internals, Ohlins steering damper, and a Penske 8987 triple clicker

2000 996XU (extra ugly) for track days - BST carbon wheels, Ohlins shock, reworked fork, FBF exhaust, and a bunch of megacycle rocker arms. The rest of it is junk - Hey, I'm just happy that it runs...

Sold: 2002 Aprilia RST1000 for touring - De-restricted airbox, Taylormade Racing exhaust

Joe Rocket makes a CF lid.  I believe it is a rebadged HJC.  $350 online;

Not as cool as the BMW, but way cheaper.  I've tried it on and it somewhat fits like an old SHoei helmet (which is what I have).  I checked it out because my full face helmet it old (like 8 years old), but I decided to spend my motorcycle cash on stuff that really matters -- new pipes and a billet pressure plate for my Monster!

Nice lid.  I don't think I'd get one but it's pretty striking.  I just got a new Shoe X-11 and it's much better than the Arai it replaced.

The BMW rep told me that all BMW helmets were Schuberth, we don't have Schuberth down here in Australia so I asked him to see 'one of the rebadged Schuberth' to which he replied that all of them were!
