Ive got a 1999 748 for sale with a few mods.  Might consider a partial trade for some cool guns and cash.

Not sure I am ready to part with any of my firearms just yet, but what kind of mods are we talking about?

Personally, I'd love to have a Tamburini. It'd be tough not to ride if on the street, they're too pretty

Alright already, enough of this madness - I'll just sell you my yellow 999 so I can buy the HyperRTard on Craigslist.  I've seen Giannis track the livin' $%!t outta one of those bikes...

Damn it - Barteneder! cut me off...

Hey Roger, I don't suppose you're looking to sell a Cromo yet?

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

The only real part of this thread that caught my eye was the gun part. Do not ever part with your guns! Period. The thought of me coming over and shooting you for doing so should make you reconsider such foolishness! [laugh] Tamburinis can have some chronic problems that have been discussed at length in a recent thread regarding a 748 track bike for sale. Can't remember now who posted it. ??? But it's out there somewhere.

Tracking is all cool and what not but the fun you could have on the street every day and night 12 months out of the year on a Monster is something that you can't put a price on. Lisa bought her Monster back from Scott for a good reason. Constant fun, very road worthy for long multi day trips with the mob and if you don't think they can be ridden fast just try and follow Jacob on a twisty road on his bone stock S2R! Anyone want to argue with that? Thought not.

Yes, me ;D
I sold the Monster for good reason. Also, I think someone we know (who's name starts with "J" & rhymes with "acob") will be moving into an SBK when funds allow ;)
All a matter of personal opinion [thumbsup]

Thanks Fastwin, that whole selling of the firearms things was only a momentary lapse in judgement. I have decided to get a monster for some of the very reasons you mention and the fact that I would like to give the 848 some track time; crashing be damned.

So, I have made up my mind.... now which Monster to get!!! MUWAHHHAHAHA  [evil]

Uh you? (flaking rocker problem);D

OK let me give this one more shot.

A.  Buy the 748.  Track the sh1t out of it.  Get the bug out of your system.  Ride the 848 in town and on trips.  Man up.  It's part of what you pay for having a track bike and keeping your guns.  You can always buy a Monster later on.  Everyone does sooner or later.

Or B.  buy a Monster and track the 848.  Crash the 848 and kick yourself all day long.

Or C.  buy a Monster and track the 848.  Don't crash the 848 and be very careful.

OK now, who do you think you really are; A, B or C ?

CF JHP 1/2 system, mono and boposto setup complete with pegs (Mono is in excellent condition, I bought the Bi assembly to take the wife for a couple of runs, it needs help but is functional), kevlar front fender, cf 1/2 clutch cover, FIM chip, 190 rear tire and I have a brand new Avon rear thats a 180.....BUT WAIT, thats not all!  If you act within the next 1800 minutes, Ill throw in a 180 series rain tire for free AND the stock exhaust!!  Thats at least a $17,000 value for the low low price of $5500obo.

Bike is sweet, never seen rain, never down yada, yada, yada.  10k original miles on the clock, rockers checked and replaced under warranty early in the game. Belts replaced, oil changed at least 4 times.

Dude, thats so funny that you posted......I finally decided to part with my 1999 Cromo and posted the ad today.....thats some serious ESP shizzle going on.  It only has 1707 original miles!!!  Looks like I just brought it home from the sto!  PM me with how much you want to spend, Ill work with you.  The bike is so perfect, I almost dont want it to go to anyone other than a collector...

Everything here is cool, when you coming up for some beers?
