I searched google and havent seen many reviews. I've got a tire change coming up for both front and rear these are about 50 bucks cheaper for a set than pilot powers and about 80 bucks cheaper than the 2CT's

These tires are 3CT on the rear and 2CT on the front. Any one have any idea on wear rate has anyone even used these?

We've used a lot of the 14s over the last few years & just got a few sets of the 16s. Nothing to report yet but I expect nothing but good things. We've already mounted 2 sets so bring this back up to the top in about a week.

I'd like to know too. I'm thinking of trying something new on my bike other than Pilots.

I'll do that but I just ordered some BT021's for my bike today. Front and rear. Rear is still dual compound. I think they should be fine for twisties, I burn through tires so quick, I need something that will last longer.

About $220 for the set was the best price I could find with mount and balance included. Cant complain..

I bought a pair of the BT016s for my 929 and the rear tire seems to just shed rubber off like dead skin. The tires feel great and they grip well but I'm somewhat concerned with tire life. The suspension seems to be set up correctly and the bike handles GREAT but maybe the way I ride the inline 4 is just less smooth than when I ride my 998. In this pic I'd just done a 20 - 30 mile spirited (but not hard) ride through some twisties.

Again, the tires handled GREAT and the traction was predictable and sticky. I just don't know how long they'll last. I have Dunlop Qualifiers on my 998 and they don't do this at all.

So on a side note, i've the bt-021's I ended up buying are extremely loud in the front, how's the noise on the BT-016's? All I can say is the 21's are wearing in VERY well especially since I tend to flog them more than most. I'll never go back to pilots again..WAY too much hype and as a result, way too much money...

I had a BT014 when I collected the Bike which lasted a week, I wish I could say It was from spirited riding, but no, a piece of steel through the tread and out the sidewall destroyed that tyre.

Went to a BT015, got 8000 km's out of that, with some spirited riding from time to time, mainly commute, suspension was not setup correctly, although the rear shock was replaced about 500 km's from the end of the tyre's life, I could have maybe got another 500 - 1000 km's from the tyre but a big slice across the tread destroyed that option. but typical, with most tyre's the centre of the tread was destroyed by commuting

Put on a BT016 on the rear this week, read some good reviews on the Web, the centre part of the tread is supposed to be a harder compound than the BT021 touring tyre (Dealer said that and a couple of reviews said the same) So far I am impressed, it takes a little longer to warm up the tyre, but so far with the limited amount of KM's I have on them they feel pretty good, the grip when leaning is better than the BT015. I am looking at going on a decent run in the mountains tomorrow.

I'll let you know what I find.

PS: Still on the BT014 front (OEM Fit) This tyre is almost done, I will be replacing this within the next week or 2, putting on the BT016 front to match the rear and having the forks resprung while it's in seeing the doctor.
