Hi all,

Has anyone installed 1100 EVO front foot peg brackets on a 696?

I just replaced the LHS foot peg bracket on my 696 and when picking up the new one from the dlr noticed that the 1100 bracket looks like a bolt on replacement which would save a few kilos and be a lot cheaper than aftermarket rearsets.

The LHS doesn't look to have any issues but on the RHS the brake master cylinder is shifted rearward and rotated 90 degrees. I am wondering if the master cylinder fowls the swingarm in this position.

Not looking to replace the brackets now but if they were to ever need replacing again....

you would either drill and tap holes or replace the subframe as the 696 doesnt have the holes where those brackets mount

Yeah, the mounts aren't there for the rear pegs, I think the standard exhaust (am I the only one with the standard cans still on! ;D) would be in the way also.

I would just leave the rear pegs off (single seater).

you can get the Style and Performance Rear peg set to work with the 1100 evo front pegs
