Well, with rollerblades it's possible he started in his 30s and just never was embarrassed enough to stop.

There was a 85yo guy who snowboarded at the Mtn. I worked at.He said what else was he going to do? His wife had passed away and he didn't feel like sitting home watching T.V. all day.He didn't use a cane but did carry one ski pole for the flats and had click-in bindings.More power to 'em.

I still blade at 32..  will do it for ever..  will still jump ramps and maybe hit up a skate park.  It was natural for me when I started at age 10...  I blade better then walking lol...  never will I put on a pair of recro's though.. no breaks for me..   I can't imagine the looks ill get when im old like that and on them..  prob have magnetic hovering ones buy then..

Call me a one-upper if you will but there's a guy (50-ish) in Denver who rollerSKATES around a big park with a boom box on his shoulder.

We actually like watching him, well, rock & roll.    [thumbsup]
