I have been a reader / stalker on this website for sometime.  Great resource for the nitty gritty of Monster Mods and just general Monster Love.  I have gotten some great advice / insight over the years.

Name:  Brent Wisner

Location:  Honolulu, although I will be moving back to Los Angeles in about three months

Bike(s): I am bike monogamist.  I usually only own/ride one bike at a time.

'12 Monster 1100 EVO - Black (current), absolutely love this bike.  I have only put about 1,200 miles on it (did my first service at 600, kept it under 6000 RPM and made sure to give it a wide variation of throttle).  Not sure what the next step to breaking it in is.  I am affraid to really open it up without a little more knowledge.  Any thoughts?

'09 Yamaha R1 - Raven (sold it), didn't really like it.  Was crazy fast.  Like crazy fast.  But unlike on my Ducati's I didn't feel any of the speed.  It also just didn’t have that awesome nimbleness that I love.

‘05 S4R - Black (stolen), this one was special.  I did a massive amount of Mods on this bike, from tail-chopping to putting on a sweet Akropovic full system / power commander, clip-on's, etc...  When this bike was stolen in 2009, I literally felt like my soul was crushed.

‘03 750- Dark (sold it), like all first’s, this one will forever stay with me.  Bought with a bunch of mods already.  Played with some of them.  I even chopped the tail, hacksaw and all, and that was nerve-racking / turned out awesome.

‘05 Suzuki SV650 - Silver (sold it), it was my first bike.  Great ride.  Also naked.  Was nimble and fun.  Commuted on it to college.

How long you've been riding: I have been riding for 10 years now (since 2002).

Anything else you'd like to share:

I am in the process of modifying my 1100 EVO.  I have already installed the Evotech Rear Fender Eliminator and parted ways with that hunk of ugly plastic that some lawyer made the designers attach to the back.  I also installed a LightWerks integrated taillight.  It was an easy install and looks great.  The only issue with the fender eliminator is that it was designed to have two signal lights attached, so I have two brackets slightly sticking out in the rear.  It is not a big deal.  I was thinking of using the left bracket to make a helmet lock and hacksawing / filing / painting the right one off.  But that is not pressing.

I am waiting on putting on a new exhaust.  I have yet to find one that I really like.  If nothing comes out in the next six months, I am just going to go with the Stainless Termi’s.  I would really like to find them in titanium though.  Ideally, a high mount would be nice but not the Sparks design.  I’d like to keep them on one side.

I plan on posting a thread in the next few days to discuss my handlebar situation.  I know there are tons of threads on this, but I think I can combine a bunch of what I have seen and, hopefully, set up an up-to-date discussion of clip-ons / aftermarket bars.

I have a bunch of other ideas, but for now, I hope this gives you a good idea of who I am.
