Hey!

So I just joined DMF (and the riding community in general) and thought I'd introduce myself.

After a divorce about a year ago I figured I was going to cross as many things off my 'bucket list' as possible. So this spring that item was getting my bike license and a bike, something I've wanted to do since my dad took me out on his old Honda when I was a kid.

So after a month of prepping and safety courses, as of the middle of June, I have my license, and picked up a fantastic '06 Ducati Monster 620.

I've been reading the forum quite a bit over the last week and it looks like a really good community. Looking forward to being a part of it and picking up some knowledge!

LOL Thanks! They were actually some ebay specials that came with the bike when I bought it (as the original owner stripped the stock mirror slot when it was dropped). They needed to be tightened after every ride and got to the point that they were just falling down in traffic. So I've since replaced them with a pair of CRG Arrows.
