I cracked open a magazine and accidentally looked at the Ducati Diaval for too long and I got the willies. Uuuuulghguughgghhh.

I get it, but I don't get it.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room

Then it isn't the bike for you. [evil]

No. I'm a different type of idiot altogether.

I would get one in a second if i was over 50 and was looking for something different than the monster. I love the way it looks.

I prefer the Diavel. Had a neighbor with the black carbon version, full Termi exhaust... and that sounded amazing. If I had a need for a third bike (and it was free), I'd certainly consider one.

I've seen a few close up recently and I now think they are bad ass. They remind me of my 1968 GTO, big, menacing and powerful. If I had an extra $20,000 laying around.  :'(  , I would get one.

I don't care for it.  It looks like the designer(s) watched the movies Predator and Transformers, then melded the two concepts together into a motorcycle.
2008 S2R 1k.  Black.  Pazzo Levers, 14 t front sprocket, CRG Hindsight LS mirrors, Cycle Cat Frame Sliders,  Oberon open clutch cover and gold/black EVR pressure plate, full Arrow exhaust with reflashed and mapped ECU, tail chop with gold Rizoma Avio 21 turn signals, Ohlins rear shock and Rizoma fluid reservoirs.

Two great tastes that taste great together. I also like chocolate in my peanut butter.

I feel like this has all been discussed before (likely on this forum). The Diavel is an opportunity for Ducati to widen their client base. Those of us who have Monsters aren't their demographic, but guys looking for alternatives to heavy cruisers (HD and such) likely are. It's certainly not for everyone, and that's cool, because there are plenty of bike choices out there. If we ALL had the same bikes, it would be boring. What would we talk about?!

If I had the cash, I would likely own one I like the concept, and I'm certain it is a blast to ride.

Close to "over 50" myself, I don't have any urge to buy a fat a$$ cruiser. (now a ponytail and an earring...welll... maybe)

I wasn't a fan but then I rode one........changed my mind after that but I'm not selling my Harley because it's a true long distance bike.

I sat on one, and it was surprisingly comfortable.  They are one of those bikes that look better in person than they do in pictures. If I was in the market for a cruiser bike, I'd certainly consider it.  Also, how much of the bike do you really see when you're riding, the top of the gas tank, the handlebars mirrors and gauge cluster really, and those all look ok.
