So if we did a type 1 I could sell online to anyone?

If I sold to a dealer (who should also have an ffl) no type 1 needed. Right?

type 1 allows you to sell directly to anyone in-state.  out of state requires transfer to another ffl in that state.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Got it.

So... you want one with your name on it?

;D

Suppressors.

Kev, make suppressors.

Seems to me that suspenders would require less paperwork  ;D

Is the next gun/moto based reality show going to feature our own ML?

Check out the Reflex brand.  They are the best dry-wipe design..  says they are patented but I've not found it.  it's the shape of their baffles.

i see no legal impediment to copying them, i emailed them a while back asking about their patent but they did not reply.

found a drawing

they are unique in that they fit over the barrel about 5-6" and don't increase the length much (can only be done with rifles that don't have a front sight).  they are designed for use with regular ammo (not subsonic, like others) so you ahve that huge expansion chamber first, then the baffels with a diverter cone on the first one.  The more baffels you put inline, the more diffuse the sound.  i think you can tweak the design with small ports on the baffle chambers too.

you can buy these over the counter in most of scandinavia without any paperwork of any kind.  at least you could when i was in sweden a while back.

There's not enough drama to keep it interesting.

Forgive the pun, but we're a well oiled machine :)

From the reading I've done it seems all suppressor designs were the result of trial and error and all of them work the same way.

I don't think I've come across any designs that were actually patented.

I could do that. Id measure it up, you tell me what the new numbers should be and ill cut it.

Providing you release me from any liability.  If it snaps off because its too thin and you run into a flatbed carrying running wood chippers ...

I never knew you.

;)

What, this part?

I bought it off some guy in a dark alley.

Never seen him before in my life.

No, those are not his baked beans on my folding chair...

i have had guys reach back and grab my crotch in an attempt to get around me. i'll either blow in their ear or ask them politely to let go of my wang.

it's the front sight of the barrel.

That's a Valmet.  They have the front sight on the gas block.  Regular AKs put the front sight on the tip of the barrel.
