They all burnt their fingers off the other night improperly handling fireworks and can't type today most likely

I have a fun afternoon lined up....

setting up a call between 2 scientific geeks in our research labs who play in data mining and a sales team assigned to a big bank

the sales pukes want to see if my weird science guys are "customer safe" types...

as I said to the sales director..."hell the bank puts up with you idiots and they aren't scared right?

sales guy = makes promises without knowing whether it's even possible

science guy = talk too much and overly honest (I'm in this camp)

I love not being out in front of clients much anymore.....I ghost write and broker resources for the sales folks

besides most of the sales folks never liked me in front of the customers

as I tended to set the presence, knowledge and credibility bar far beyond their normal reach

and the clients would generally be openly dismissive of the sales people if I was at the table

so we're all happy now
