Kuryakyn ISO grips

So I have a pair of ISO grips by Kuryakyn on another bike and I love them, they are very comfortable.  http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/4022/Gloss-Black-ISO-Grips

I've not seen any talk of people using these with Ducati Monsters.  ISO grips are much larger in diameter than the stock grips which I much prefer. 

Are there better grips that are like the ISO grips that people prefer to use for comfort with Ducati bikes?  Has anyone used these on their bike.  The only problem I've run into with these is that they prevent the use of bar end mirrors which I would also like.  So I'm doing some shopping around. Thoughts?

Well, this is the first time I've heard of them mentioned by name frankly. Definitely seen them on some cruisers, but can't say I've ever seen them on a sport bike.

What comfort issues are you having?

Prevents bar ends? bah - nothing a drill can't fix  ;D

Well, this is the first bike I've owned that falls into the sport bike category.  I've had a few previous bikes with a more upright sitting position.  It's just been uncomfortable leaning on the narrow hard grips on my ducati.  Maybe it's something I just need to get used to.  I also feel a lot of vibration with this bike that I've not really had before.  It's mostly my left hand/wrist.  I broke it fairly bad a few years ago which may be the cause of my discomfort.  Either way, it would be nice to find a more comfortable option.

I'm open to any advice or thoughts.

Well vibration is hard to say about as that's relative and we each feel it differently - given that your bike is in good order and there's not additional vibration for some reason.

Regard body position. That's where your fix is, not necessarily the grips. In a more sporing bike, leaned over positure, you're using your core/trunk to support your upper body - not leaning your weight through the shoulders/arms to the bars.

Ensure the ball of you foot is on the pegs (when not needing to shift or brake). Grip the tank with your knees. Support your upper body with your core.
- Now you should be able to ride with your elbows flexed and be able to make 'chicken wing' motions with yoru arms without effecting the course of the bike. If you cannot flap your arms, you're too stiff/leaning too much on the bars/have over straight arms.

- You'll see the orange helmet fellow in the first could probably make the wings if he wanted to, even with the agressive positure he as and pretty steep lean on the bike
