Sam is more than welcome!  If we get our "usuals" show up, there will be a 15 year old boy, and I 'think' two 12 year old boys.  Although, a couple of them were "down" on this particular game and may turn their noses up a the offer.  Even if nobody else in that age range shows up, Sam's still welcome to join in for as long as he likes.

I may also have a spare machine for you to use so you don't have to worry about transporting your own.  I generally play SC on my laptop, so my PC is available.  I just need to get a quick refresher on "sharing" of this game.  I think it's pretty tolerant on using one CD key on multiple machines for LAN only games.  Connecting to the internet with the same key surely doesn't work.

hey!  i act like i'm 16 *at least*....thanks.      sam should go either way; he'll be assured to beat the crap out of me for sure...i haven't been playing any RTS for some time, so i think there might be some floor-mopping that will be going on.

cool...i'll go ahead and download the latest when i get home today though, and i can always bring along my machine as well if bryant is able to pick me up on his way.  now i just need to get a couple case fan mods done in the next week.... i picked up an ATI radeon 4850 about a week ago and it runs very HOT.  the Phenom CPU isn't too far behind....     i have some ISOs on my external drive that i can bring along with a few good titles...i've been loving GRID (and the pirate version can play internet games as well)

This is shaping up to be a respectable turnout.  So far there are 12 confirmed to attend, including Sam.

I'm going to give my laptop a test run to see if it'll run the game at an acceptable level.  If not I may have to locate another machine

So what's so "Politically Correct" about Gaming?!?

I have yet to try and load the warez verson of FA.  Hopefully I'll get to that tonight and see if it'll run at a decent level.
