Good times. Last time I had a fireworks dual I'm glad I remembered ATGATT...
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

My tenant has a BMW R1150R Rockster. 

He wants to mount one of these on either side above the jugs facing forward:
