http://www.amazon.com/Voodoo-Tactical-Tri-Gun-Weapons-15-0027/dp/B005WVVSDA  how would you keep it on your motorcycle?  I'd really rather ride the two hours each way at 30+ MPG versus the 23 MPG I get in my truck.

2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, RWD, 4.11 gears, 5-Speed automatic, and cruise control = 23 MPG on the highway.  I get 17 MPG around town.  Peacemaker National Training Center hosts 3-Gun, USPSA, and IDPA matches, and one of the FN 3-Gun Nationals matches, and they're 100 miles away.  Black Creek has a 3-Gun match I usually go to, it's over 50 miles away.  Most of the matches I go to take me at least an hour to get to.  Summit Point hosts a few matches a year, I haven't heard anything from them recently, I don't know if they're still doing them.

What's three gun? Pistol, rifle, and shotgun?

If so, the answer is "X" the rifle and shotty on your back, and open carry the pistol. ;D

You're in Virginia...it's fine.

I had my gunsmith replace the handguard on my 3-Gun rifle, I'm still waiting on him to finish my pistol.  I usually run a thigh rig during a match, so I don't have to attach the holster to my battle belt.  I do open carry on my wife's Spyder, I haven't gotten a chance to on my Ducati.  I'd like to afford my firearms some protection if I crash, hence the padded carrying case.  I've got waaaaaaaaaay too much money invested in them.

Your weapons will be toast if you lay the bike down.  Even in a tip over there would be a strong possibility of bending a barrel or breaking a stock.  I'd go with something more like this:

But I would never transport any of my rifles or shotguns on my bike, unless as it was already mentioned it was on my back  ;D

You mean like Angel in "Hot Fuzz?"  I'm wondering if that might put too much aerodynamic drag on me, plus it would scare the sheeple in I-66 or I-95.  I might have to try that.

Budget extra time for getting pulled over... I'm guessing that the LEOs will not be terribly amused even if it is legal.

I was close to strapping my AR-15 to my back for a quick range trip, but I eventually wimped out and took the car. :P

Ya, I don't have the guts to put my AR on my back and ride around....even tho it would be totally legal.

Do this one, simply because it's so BW2B-ing cool, but only if you have a robust beard.
