my guess is that even if the valentino/marlboro deal isn't quite done, jarvis pulled ben's contract off the table just as ben was reaching for a pen.

Jarvis was never Ben's biggest supporter.

Maybe Ben will tell his side of it when the time is right.

I'd love to see Ben as the new BMW wsbk posterboy and then into their (hopeful) move into motogp.

But yeah... seems like there are a lot more shenanigans going on than previously hinted at.

little known fact, ben drove a red convertible bmw m3 in high school. iirc it was a signing bonus from yosh.

latest rumor iteration has him riding the BMW in wsbk for 1-2 years and then returning to MotoGP.  on a BMW.
