After much deliberation and help from the board, i finally got the termis kit for my 695. I must say i am very impressed, my ears are hurting a tad (went for the baffles out), but its a happy ringing. At the same time i had the 14T sprocket change done , so the bike truly feels different. The first time i let it out of first i really had to hold on.

Quick question on how this whole exhaust system works- I am mechanically challenged. Most of the deep growl happens as the bike decelerates, why is that? And where is most the noise coming from, since I'm on the bike am i mainly hearing the open airbox?

again, it wasn't cheap, but now i understand why everyone had only good things to say.

What made you go with the Termi's?  I'm not far out from doing this and am torn between Termi's, MIVV, and Arrows.  I like the sound of each, but for different reasons.  The Arrows and MIVV's are less expensive, but I pretty set on upgrading the ECU and air box at the same time.  I've looked all over and can't find a price for the ducati performance chip so it may be that the Termi kit may be the best bang for the buck. 

the main reason for going with the termis was that its a whole set. If i got different cans, but still wanted the dp ecu (which was one of my main motivators- to help the bike run cooler/better) would of cost only a few hundred less then the whole kit. So It made sense to go with this, and i must say i really do love the sound. IF your not keen on the DP ecu, i'm pretty sure there are cheaper alternatives- but if you are, i think its the only way to go.

only termi sounds like a termi, the arrows i have noticed dont' sound the same, they are louder yes, but they are not the same, i liked the termis and went with them bc they sounded nicer, a lower sound that is a bit less volume than the arrows... personally i like that better.  i've heard a set of sil pipes too, those too are as loud as arrows but i don't feel taht the lower sound of them is as nice as termis..

if you can't find the termi with ecu what you can do is maybe consdier a pc3 to attach ,but not sure if it works with the 695 if it does one route to go is get termi ti low mounts and they are easily 300 cheaper than carbon, npr ducati stocks them and paul there is great guy to deal with.

I'm pretty much digging all of them.  I hear a set of Termi's and love it.  I was riding behind a Monster with a set of MIVV's and was drooling over that too.  I thought the Arrows were louder and had a higher pitch, but loved that too.  I'm a total junkie for loud, deep sound.  It took me a bit, but I set up my Mustand to sould like the Challenger in Bullit.

Thanks for the info on the Termi set up.  If the difference is only a couple hundred dollars...w/ the air box and new ECU, they definately make sense.   If the difference was a thousand or more, I'd probably go with the Arrow or MIVV set up.  BTW, the bike looks great with them.

You need to get the CF heal guards though, those Termis make the stainless look uber cheap and weak sauce.

yeah, i was surprised to see it didn't come with the kit. where do you get them?

Your hearing the airbox more than the exhaust on the highway. It is an addicting sound. Get earplugs. Ringing ears is bad.

Hey, I have the same set up, low mount termis, 14t sprocket, ecu.  Sound is sweet, and the termis rock.  I know what you mean about the low sound on decelleration.  I'm no expert so I don't know why that is.  Enjoy!  Sweet looking bike!  Make sure you pull the baffles out if you haven't yet

Occasionally I think about putting the baffles back in. 'Course, occasionally I think a lot of things..

Question, I removed the heat guard thingamajigs entirely. Couldn't see the use for him. Am I wrong?

i think its there to protect your passengers legs from burning....
