EDIT - Decided NOT to sell my 2004 999...

Seriously thinking about selling my 999.  You folks know the history of this bike, what would you  ask for it?  I'm thinking $2,500 - 2,700.  Is that too expensive for an eight year old 999 Base with 34,000 one-owner miles?  (And then there was that bit of experimental agricultural plowing I did at Cresson last November...)

I've owned the bike long enough now that there's no emotional attachment, I'd just like it gone.

Any ideas?  It'd sure make a decent entry-level track bike for somebody  [popcorn]

I think that is a very fair price  [thumbsup] Wish I could jump on it...

Good luck with the sale Lisa. [thumbsup] It's a really sweet bike. I've seriously considered unloading a lot of my scooters as of late. Can't afford all the Duc service costs. Trying to keep your sale local?
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

Hi there!  Yep, I got the PM and I'm working on a photobucket slideshow of the relevent pix that will better explain the bike and its current/past condition.  I'll PM you with the details and photobucket link later tonight probably.  Thanks for your interest.

It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

Just going over the 999 file with repair receipts and noticed that in February of this year the bike had it's 30,000 mile major service.

Just thrown' that out there for any of y'all maybe on the fence  [evil]
