Ok.  Un-stickied.

But I think it's just 'cuz you have one...  ;D

The polls used to give the option to let each voter vote more than once, but I couldn't make it do that.  Maybe in lieu of Boobies I should have posted....Hells Yes...and Boobies!

Wonder if it's too late to change it?!?

Hey, Karl....if I heard Jonezy correctly he said you could take the Panigale S demo to Ouray if you want.   [thumbsup]

I do appreciate everyone's concern to see me riding a 1199  ;D

ducducgooseme

Got to ride an S (finally).

Some thoughts:

The tank design and how the legs fit around it are a great improvement to the 1098s.  I felt more "one with the bike" than I did on my 1098s.

I missed hearing the clutch.   :-\

Power delivery down low wasnt as bad as I have heard.  Granted, my 1098s had one down on the sprocket, so its not a true apples to apple comparison, but overall I feel the 1098s has more lower range.

Get above 7k on the rpm and hold-the-make the beast with two backs-on!!  It is a beast in the upper rev limits.  Really a powerful bike.

Overall, I think its a beauty.  I will have one in the year or two for sure....after Karl  [laugh]
If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.

That picture shows nothing that I can identify as mirrors or front turn signals...so it can't come into the US like that.

Meanwhile, Lux Machine is building some butch looking mirror block off plates with integrated turn signals!  Try http://luxmachine.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html for a peek.

Add a bar end mirror on the left and, voila!  A whole new look for the front of the bike.

The holes next to the windscreen look like mirrors are missing from there. Maybe they took them off for a photo op? Or to show that they're easy to take off for a track day?

That's exactly what I did on my 1098. Took off the fugly mirror/turn signal, installed "mirror block off plates" with led turn signals, & CRG bar-end mirrors. Not only looks better, but is also much more effective!

I think they were pointing out that mirror block-off plates are included on the "R".

Hey Karl- you'll be able to pick up an 1199 cheap once Cloner's "R" comes in!!!

I can barely ride the one I've got.  Why the hell would I want to upgrade?!? [evil]

Thanks for sharing Karl! This thing is a beast...truly scares me! [evil] How do you ride on the ground when hitting the red line means turning the flaps ON? ;D [roll] It was exciting to watch, love the heavy bass during engine braking, love the gear indicators, lap timers, red line bars, love the POWER! Hopefully, I can ride behind few of your (current and aspirants) Panigale's next summer... [Dolph]
Ride forever...
