Look out records

And they did quite fine with the "wrong bike".

SPOILER ALERT

And given the terrain of Pikes Peak, a Multistrada or Hypermotard is much better suited for racing than a superbike.

FWIW....( spoilers inside also )

http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/racing/2012-pikes-peak-internationl-hill-climb-race-results/

Though many thought the sport bikers would dominate this year, it was the adventure-touring bikes in 1205cc class that would lay siege to Pikes Peak, in more than impressive style.....

for supperduc since he mentioned ( and later retracted ) the Multi being the wrong bike...LOL

anyway you slice it, no matter your preference...that is some serious lean angle and riding style preference demonstrated there...one of the things that seems to be great about the Multi is it's ability to cater/adapt to the rider and their preferential riding style!!!
