*I* just did a ride on my road bike as well. 

Distance - 19.6 miles 
Time - 1:23:36
Average Speed - 14.1mph (Just a couple stop lights).
Elevation gain - f@#k all, maybe 30 feet, a bridge over a canal by the marina. 
Calories burned - not sure....I did the ride in two legs, out - fish'n'chips for lunch - back. 

Later today, I get to head out for two days paddling the Colorado River, in the Black Canyon section below Hoover Dam. 

It will be in the company of three other adults and 28 high school seniors.

Things are going well. I should be reveling in my good fortune. But...

I'm a guy. And therefore stupid. Most of the heartache in my life is of my own creation.

One of these days I hope I can truly appreciate what I actually have and not waste time thinking about what I want but cannot have.

G is in DC this weekend.

Tried to get together with a few people for dinner...  Everyone is in Indy this weekend.

Get to my favorite restaurant...  The one thing I was really looking forward to...



Phone battery almost dead.  Charger not working.

What else will go wrong?  (flying tomorrow, so hoping the fails have come to an end)

According to the news, they got fined for "violating the local aviation regulations by organizing an unapproved show on a plane".
