If you get a chance go check em out, nothing quite like 20+ big twins roaring around the track. Better yet, go check out an AMA Flat Track race.

I really appreciate any form of motorcycle racing.

I did very limited motocross (1975-80) and again in late 80's.
My bike prior to my Monster was a Harley Dyna WideGlide....so heavy & long...don't miss it!!

After getting my Duc 3 years ago...started watching MotoGP, WSBK (my Fav) [beer]
Kinda like watching TT Isle of Man highlights....Though I do a lot of wincing!!!

Some serious (deadly) looking crashes ???

Flat tracks are cool! If you ever get a chance to attend the Indy MotoGP weekend, they usually have the flat track races on the same weekend at the Indy mile. I went to Indy for 3 years in a row and the flat track races generally were much more entertaining than the MotoGP parade, except for the hurricane year (almost flew off the stands that year).

The girlfriend and I were watching the XR 1200 race in Indy. After a couple of laps she looks at me and said: "Oh I forgot we are watching a race".

Dude, do you remember when a guy flew off the track in turn 1 a few years ago?

I do. Happened right in front of us as we were hanging with Ma and Pa Slater.
