What an awesome story. I remember watching the moon walk scene in July 1969 on TV like it was yesterday. Funny, my wife was 2 months old at the time and doesn't even really know what I'm talking about! [laugh] Armstrong lived a wonderful, quiet, modest life considering he was one of the most famous men to have ever walked this planet. How cool was that?

I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

Yes indeed.

I clearly remember watching it with my Dad on our black + white TV.... I was a kid and it was amazing but I still remember how utterly awe-struck my Dad was by this fantastic event.  For kids... amazing is more achievable and as impressed as i was......  it was my Dad who truly understood the magnitude of that historic moment.

RIP Neil Armstrong - And thanks for the Giant Leap you gave us.
