Yeah.... I would've been homeless, bikeless, boyfriendless.... living in my friend's chicken coop.

Big "whew".   (I still feel a little nauseous about the "what if".)

a hilarious visual... made me spit coffee  [laugh] [laugh]
i'm glad this did not happen to you this time - you better watch your step missy

Watched most of the 96 remaining riders in the USAPCC scream by today at Denver Bicycle Cafe.

Those guys are f'n amazing.

On a 9.5 mile course that was relatively flat (although at an elevation of a mile high), Taylor Phinney (the dude has a pretty amazing pedigree) finished first with an average speed of 32.7mph.  [bow_down] [bow_down] [bow_down]

I start teaching again tomorrow morning - first period, Financial Literacy at a local high school - and picked up my final class roster that must have gone in my inbox over the weekend.

My daughter is on it, much to our mutual surprise.  :o

She, her mom and I talked about it briefly, and we all think it'll be OK, but it was a bit of a shock.

Being the HOA President has its moments. 5 more meetings and I am off the board. Been a good 3 years, but I so ready to be done.

Stay away from the fork Stella, stay away from the fork.

:P

I need to sign up for an event.  Wait I did.  It's in 3 weeks and I cannot stop eating and cannot get motivated.

Threats from a pissed off condo owner today. He made them to our lawyer. All her calls are taped.

We garnished his wages and wiped out his bank account for back dues. He owes about 8 thousand. We got 3K. Death threats followed. This is the same guy that was beating his kid last fall. Our concierge called the SPD on him. Bully.

I will be happy to be off the board in January. Our lawyer is working on legal actions we can take.

Stella

Holy crap!

What a complete scumbag!   Sorry you have to deal with him.  And I hope his kid(s) are going to be ok (and I hope he doesn't have any animals).

my son once was living in a share in a tenement in trendy Brooklyn

downstairs there was a couple,,,,a legacy family of the old tenement building

the man would come home drunk a few times a week and beat on his wife

wife would howl and shriek until a neighbor would grow weary and would call 911

my son said the creepiest thing happened one day

he was walking up the stairs and he heard the woman shrieking but it sounded different...

and he had seen the man leave for work an hour or two before

so sonny figured she had other people visiting her and beating on her on the side

a few days later he saw the creep outside,,,,turns out the guy had a pet cockatiel

seems the bird was imitating the woman's vocalized torments that it witnessed weekly

my son figured the lady had found herself a special hell....

when she wasn't actually getting beaten................

she had his pet bird constantly reminding her of what invariably lay ahead
This is an insult to the Pez community

Its built nicely.

But after 120,000kms I still dont enjoy the turbo............................. lag.

Or the bass-ackwards LHD steering column switch stalks.  Cheap, lazy bastards.

Or the mid-eighties SAAB style torque steer.

And front wheel drive?   [puke].

when my Golf lights up the tires, it goes straight. No reason these days for excessive torque steer
