Termis and ECU really seem more to smooth out the fueling, though it does add some pep I would think.  My first guess is that thing is geared down a tooth in front with a 14t which makes it feel pretty torque-ful off the line.

It's funny you say that though, I just rode a stock 1100 EVO and it felt good but didn't have crazy power.  I have not ridden a Buell in probably 3 years when I test rode a a stock XB12scg and just from memory the Buell seemed to have more pull, especially down low.  The 1100 with a 14t I'm guessing would feel pretty meaty though...

And damn I'm jealous Blackdog.  That's a good deal that I wish I could stumble on... lol

This bike seems to be well sorted.  As soon as I get time I'm going to check the tooth count.

I'm still trying to figure out why it's so fast.  Stock HP is 85,  how much gain will a Termi and race ECM get you?   My Buell had 100 HP and this bike feels stronger.

I thought stock HP was 95HP on the 1100S.

I think they dyno around 85.  Advertised is about 95.

Ah Ok - you're talking rear wheel versus at the crank.

Upon closer inspection I found it does have a 14 sprocket.  This my explain the great acceleration.  What sprocket tooth count is stock?

For those of you with a set-up similar to mine, does your bike power wheelie?  Not that I would ever do anything like that.

if my old 01 900 power wheelies, your 1100 should be capable of a fairly effortless power wheelie

Good to hear!  Since I sold the Buell I started missing my daily wheelies.
