It will be very different...but, I'm sure before long we will be riding again. I think it is the other way round about learning. I still remember my Novice days on Crest with the 999 and staying last on the group tail and dreaming about riding like you one day...  Years have been good and few wounds have paved into few skills...Life is an endless learning experience.

Just wanted to let you know that Adam is doing fine other than some scrapes on his shin and bike.
Not sure what I was thinking leading the group downhill with Adam behind me
on a bike he has never ridden on the Crest and hauling ass.
Just glad he is OK.

What happened? Is he ok?

He is at my place with his daughter eating shish kabob and doing fine.
He entered a left turn fast and applied the rear brake to the point where the tire started to loose traction.
When the tire started to grip again he high sided. Minimal damage to the bike and none to the rider.

oh no. So sorry to hear that. Glad he is ok. Were you following or in front?

I saw him on the inside of a left hander and thought he was just waiting for the group to pass so he could join us. Wow!  Had no idea he had crashed!
