Hi Guys & Girls...
I've had my Monster 1100 EVO for just over 12 months now, bought it with the insurance money I got after I wrote off my Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 on some gravel kindly left behind by some road worker...Arrrrh...!! Anyway as much as I loved the Griso, it was the best thing that could have happened, the Monster is a fabulous bike especially for the type of riding I do up around the twisty roads of Mt Glorious in the hinter land behind Brisbane. Been back into riding now for about 6 years after a 20 year stint off them while the kids grew up, & I'm loving every minute of it. Started out as a young guy riding & working on Honda's, did a motor mechanic apprenticeship with a Honda dealer in Sydney, but haven't worked as a mechanic for a very long time now. I have to confess I know nothing much about Mapping, ECU, Lambda probes etc (all this stuff came well after my time). Well I look forward to participating on the forum.... Thanks, Cheers, Hugh

Welcome - there's a decent number of Aussies that haunt this board. There's even a local section

- Though it's for the whole, rather large, country. But I'd wager there's a few folks nearer you.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the feed back.
Think I'll try Euro Twins for my next service, heard lots of good things about them & they're close to home.
Hay Troy, if you have been to Mt G I'm guessing your not too far away, where is your usual ride..??
Cheers,
Hugh
