picked up a 2013 cromo a few weeks ago, man what a smile this ride puts on my face same way my 695 (my first bike) did in 2006 had many many bikes in between, sold a 2010 s1000rr bmw for this... its a machine to be appreciated in person trust me im the last guy that likes anything to do with chrome but this has a vintage bike feel

I would never buy this bike new, but once I'm back in the US, it would be on the list of possibles.

yea i was looking for a used one as well so i called the dealer about their demo they had for sale and they told me they would give me a new 2012 for same price even less, turned out the bike ended up being a 2013 :)

I regret selling my Diavel. When they do an update I'll probably pick one up and hold on to it.

You went from one end of the spectrum to the other.

I saw the cromo at the dealership and thought it looked sharp. I really liked the different seat, but wish the whole tank was chrome instead of just a strip on each side. It would make a nice pairing with my old cromo monster

I like that it has a vintage/modern feel all in one, its not something i would have ever thought of purchasing but in person its really sharp.

You went from one end of the spectrum to the other.

I sold the bike in May after an injury thinking I wouldn't be riding for a year or two. Had a fast recovery (I thought) and picked up an 1199. Re-injured my knee twice now and have serious pain after just 10-12 miles on the 1199 due to the bend of the knee. Yeah, I'm pretty much screwed. 1199 is on a tender under a sheet with 369 miles on it. Maybe I can ride it in 2013.

That's a nice write up PhilB. I'm not the target for Ducati (well I am old-ish) but something that size imo needs luggage and
passenger capability.

I dunno....looks like it is missing a thing or two.....

like a large plexi windscreen and a trailer hitched up behind it

getting a Valkyrie vibe from it

could a trike be next?
