Guess we need a spoilers tag now!? - Probably needed right from the get go really.

Dunno why... but I was pondering the machete and machete like bent that seems prevalent in 'anti-zombie' hand weapons...

Really, I think there's better options. The objective is to 'kill the brain' right? So you're using a cutting tool on a hard surface - the skull. While it is conducted/weighted for chopping, it's still a chopper.

Going back to my childhood fascination with knights etc I recalled the horseman's hammer. A purpose built skull buster - Came in a variety of flavors combining, small area hammer face (many times with teeth/claws or short spikes) on one side of the head, some sort of spike or axe on the other and some times a stabbing spike on the top, inline with the shaft.

Forget chopping at crap... explode it.

About the goat...
His name was Bob, but the family called him BeelzeBob.

Slide Panda I think you're on to something.  Goes along with my spear theory.  I like it.  I was just as a renasiance festival and saw one exactly like you're describing.

Okay, is it just me or has anyone else had just about enough of Andrea's mouth.  She is the most self righteous person in the whole show.  And she goes from not trusting the dude to wanting to stay in about 4 hours.  I just hate her character.

I mentioned a Boar spear a bit ago. Nice cross bar to keep a charging boar from just carrying on, sliding up the haft of the spear. Don't want some creeper sliding along, yick.

Rigid skull smasher =  good (mace, hammer, morning star)
Flexible smasher = bad (flail) - as dangerous to an untrained user as those on the other end.

Man, half of last season was spoiled by this thread. Why it's still not updated, I have no clue.

use the cars to reload the tank with a on board compressor

Not a terrible idea.  Extend it so there's some distance between you and Mr Z and you may be onto something :D

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I didn't like that at all.

That's not how the book went, and the storyline now is just weird.  What the hell are they all going to do with a baby with nothing to feed it?

And this just makes Carl look like he's gone off the deep end

Well, I see where you're coming from. Its not like Carl has had model parents or environment to grow up in.

I can see not wanting a loved one to become a shambler. Only one way to prevent it.

But she wasn't dead yet.. They could have laid low for a bit, Rick would have come looking for them.

I mean, kid shot his mom and she wasn't dead yet...
