Its been dead here too...cold and damp. My last run was the roughest 8 miles ever! I made a mistake in plotting the country roads..this one road- Reinhart Ten Mile Road turned into Rock road...a rock road with hairpins and waterfall illusions! The Duc cried and cried and I had everything in my mouth & eyes wide! Couldn't turn back and the old guy at the post box said..."You got wheels, it aint bad, it is good rock road, you will make it!"  I came out white, Duc was brown, chain was dry and one fork seal busted! I wrapped the season with a flying return...a real flying return!

Been working on the old machines...just cruise miles now...bikes washed, lubed, stored on cardboard and blanketed with trickle chargers...sleep sleep baby!

Sorry I didn't make it Sunday - stuff came up. Next time...

Stuart and I took one final blast up the Crest, with Cris Beck, yesterday afternoon.  Could be the last decent riding weather of the year.  You should have been there!
