Did you swap out the triple to mount the damper to the handlebar bracket? I've been thinking of doing this to mount a GPS.

No, on the sport classic, it is mounted around the fork tube and then to the key guard area.  On the monster, the triple is tapped directly to hold it.

Ducducgooseme, looks like you have my gauge lowering brackets on the Sport, and no mention in the list of mods... :'( 

Just kiddin, the Sport Classic looks GREAT!  Very unique/creative look, surprised I haven't seen it before!
