Tyson Beckford + Pike's Peak pic

maybe everyone else already knew this, but i did not -- Tyson Beckford is a ``Friend of Ducati.'' I ran into the Ralph Lauren model picking up his new 848 Streetfighter at Richard Alexander's dealership in Ossining, NY. He was quite a cool kid, and we both were drooling over the new Pike's Peak Multi in the shop -- which was the only one and already sold (it looks *massively* badass, especially the carbon front fairing).

Give me a shout if you know any good motorcycle detailers in the Westchester area.

[laugh] No I was talking about Tyson, but Showerfan holds up pretty well next to the male model. Most of us would look like dog shit next to Mr. Beckford.

IIRC.. Tyson has been riding for awhile. Seems like he was on one of the first bike shows when OCC first came out. He was riding Brittney spears on a Duc in her video. Several images of him on Ducs in a search.

Believe in addition to the SF848 he owns a Hyper.  Ran into him eating with a female friend last year not too far from the Triumph/Ducati store in Chelsea.  His Hyper looked badass too....

Yes, he was there on his hyper. And he has a 999 too (at least). Jesus Ker-ist, I can't believe he is 42! I'm 39 and I figured he was maybe 30 or so. He looks young! Anyway, nice guy and loves the bikes. He was stoked to see my 99 monster -- like seeing a museum piece.

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project. 

So I went solo.  -Me
