Merry Christmas everyone, I am a 50 something motorcyclist and I have recently purchased my first Ducati twin, a 2001 M900 Dark, it has some of the S model equipment... Its cold up here but the wife just alowed me to bring the Monster into the dining room for a breif period before Christmas.
As for my other bikes, I have been riding and wrenching since the early 1970s and have owned over 500 bikes.. have approx. 50 left in my stable, including a Stage II 2011 FLHTK, a stock 2009 Buell 1125CR, a stock 2001 FXDXT and the earliest recorded widecase Ducati single a 1968 SSS.. I am very excited about the Monster, when I purchased my 01 FX new , I also had a chance to look at the Ducati line up, the M900 Dark was definitely my second choice, well now 12 years later, I have the opportunity to relive those dreams...
Most of the remaining collection comprises of 1968 to 1987 late Classic motorcycles...mostly first production runs with low serial numbers...
Thanks in advance for the info and advice I will peel away from these walls.. and once again..
MerryChristmas to all and a Happy New Year...
