Honda = Evil (and not in a cool way)

I swore I would never own a Honda product again and would at any chance bad mouth them. (They screwed me over on my Acura MDX)

Nice bike but I would rather have the older Honda CB-1.

As for the guy on that video, could-he-sound-any-more-monotonous?

I would rename the thread to "I'm selling my M900 and then I'm buying a CBR500", because there is no way that little parallel twin can replace a Ducati Monster 900.

No....I will not be getting the CBR 500.

I do want a more reliable transportation-commuter bike...also, looking for a more "sport" bike.

Sorry to hear that the monster cost to much to repair [thumbsdown] [bang]what was the problem?

I add a cbr 125cc a couple years ago.....first bike but reliable like you couldn't  imagine....

Hi there Isabelle,

Still working on the M900.  First my mechanic found a loose ground wire...then it seems the starter my have froze up.
Really the Ducati has been pretty good to me....just time for change [roll] [thumbsup]

Funny, I had a Harley Dyna WideGlide before the M900; and, I never thought I would want a sport bike!!

Funny how things evolve. :o

+1 and a monster is a sport bike, if driven like one!

Close, but no cigar.  And the OP's Monster is set up closer to a sport bike than most Monsters.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Well this thread started out discussing the new honda 500 twin, which is not a sport bike either, regardless of how much plastic you bolt on it.

True....
That's one of reasons I decided against it.

On the short list

1.  Triumph 675 Daytona
2.  Honda CBR RR 1000 or 600
3.  Yamaha R1 or R6

You need a test ride on a certain 848 to even see if you like that style of riding.   [evil]

Maybe when the M900 is back on the road we trade off......
will be kind of like going back to a long lost love, for you :o

I'll get in a long road test on the M900 before you get it back.  ;D
