wife and I have plans for a toy hauler.  My parents have a Tiffin and we've been camping with them in Yellowstone.  I hate them because I know we can't afford that monster but we sure do want one so now we can't settle, just save save save  [bang]

T@B Travel Trailer.   [thumbsup]

We had a thread on this a few years back.  I think it was TOB though?

We camp with a pickup towing a Fleetwood tent trailer.
versatile that you can camp self-contained like a tent, or plug in like an RV

also room in the back of the truck for boats, bicycles, motos, etc
(well...maybe not all at the same time)

Smaller Toy Hauler.

Quarters in the front, lavatory then the galley and all else is communal.  Most have some sort of drop down bunks in the garage space you can deploy once the toys are out.

My RV is the bike when I bungee on the tent, but I am vary familiar with this industry, work for a supplier.  I am leaning toward a nice 5th wheel toy hauler.  Make sure you get heated basement if you want to use it in colder climates.  Tripple e is out of Canada, they build a decent rig with an understanding of cold.

Ya thinking of a pop up trailer.  It's just me and my wife!

muskrat

we'd do a pop-up but camping in bear country and having them roam around the campground scares the shit out of me.  I'm sure it has nothing to do with campers/neighbors not following directions either.  [evil]

*bump

I'm watching HGTV's "Retro Roadhomes: RV's Gone Crazy" and getting that itch again to buy an Airstream and have my dad restore it.  He used to do the interior work for Learjet.  [thumbsup]  However, as I was also checking into the retro T@B trailers, I came across The Little Guy (no..not me either!)  >:(

I've seen these being towed by motorcycles but I didn't know they could actually sleep 1-2 people.  I think it would be fun to take my son camping in one.  Anyone here own one or have FHE?

I also found this pic of the Little Guy BOSS which was inspired by the doomsday preppers.  Pretty cool!

When you make it that easy, it's not even worth it. [roll]

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I doubt a Tundra can pull that

At 11,500 GVWR, it would technically exceed the Tundra's towing capacity.

However...
