Ok this sounds like a good idea to me.  ;)I've found several good loops I ride out here on FM roads with decent twists. I'll start scouting out some towards Palestine that look good on the maps. Good news is the trucks don't tear up the roads like in DFW area

There is a LaQuinta, Best Western, and Comfort Inn (all just a few years old), and the county is no longer dry for those interested, and for those not interested too

Overnighting most likely as its 2.5 hrs from N DFW including rest stop or two. This is assuming using Jacksonville as the hub.
