I thought I scored pretty well myself yesterday. Maybe not up to bar with you two but not bad according to my own track record.   8)

Landed a very schweet 1966 Ford Mustang with a 289 3 speed auto. Negotiated the price down to over 40% off the asking price.  ;D

Yeah but...what'd you get it for? There's a local one (California car) for under 4k. '66, 289.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I ran into a smokin' deal last week. Went to Cycle gear to replace my lid, and found a KBC VR-2 in my size and colors that match my jacket. Retail was $269
Deal king price: $49.97


I told some of my friends, and two of them went up there looking. The manager swore to both of them that they didn't sell helmets for that cheap.
Each one called me from the store, thinking I exaggerated, so I told them to have the manager look up my account. Dispute over.
One got my deal, the other got a KBC modular for his wife for $70. ;D

More of a Deal Duke or Deal Viceroy than Deal King thing, but I came home from Goodwill last weekend with a nearly-new BMW moto touring jacket with armor, a waterproof zip-out liner & more pockets than I have worldly possessions to put in them for $19.

While looking for the price tag, I couldn't help but notice the ski lift ticket dangling from the zipper.  [laugh]

Well done.

I've been keeping my eyes out for a good deal on a Monster.  Also getting a new (to me) car in a few weeks, and hope I can be a Deal King.

 A vented pair of astars supertech r's are now on their way to Bako. New for 200 bones.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.
