Need isn't the point.

The fact the DA knows makes it public information IMO much like the video from dash cams, unless of course it's so damning the court seals it.

Which, again IMO, is what will most likely happen.

Nope. There is a special detail in the DA's office that handles police shootings. When they are done they will release a report. And if you think an attorney at the DA gives two shits about any cop you are mistaken. If they can hang them they will.

And how can anything about this not be damning? Calling conspiracy and coverup is premature.

The victims are ok (the main concern) and will certainly get a large payout.

ducpainter

At least we agree on it being damning. I didn't say there was any conspiracy, but I do believe information will be withheld.

Are two officers in question still being paid? That would be a conspiracy.

And as far as the victims being OK...you take a couple in the back get back to me on how OK feels. ;)

What information do you need exactly? And how is accusing them of withholding information not accusing them of conspiracy?

Are they still being paid? Of course. Why would they not?

I want to know why this ex officer has chosen this path. No conspiracy?  I'm not stupid.

Whatever happened to the brotherhood? You called him a POS.

They shouldn't be paid because they're criminals. They assaulted two innocent citizens. They should be in jail just like I would be if I shot up a pickup and wounded two people. Those two assholes are no better than me...or are they in your opinion?

1-Why did some guy decide to murder three (+) people? I don't know, cause he's a ding? Usually something is off mentally when people decide to do kill people. Why was he fired? Read the report, it's online. I don't think there is a conspiracy and I know I'm not stupid. You really think a dozen different people in a several different sections conspired to fire this guy? Why? What's their motive? Do you realize the first girl he killed was the daughter of his defense attorney? The guy was on his side.

2-He's a murderer and he was fired. He's not my brother.

3-The totality of the circumstances and the lack of intent says they aren't criminals. You already admitted you don't have all the info. Some of this stuff might be a bit out of your wheelhouse as well. I don't know paint. I don't comment on how to do it right.

Don't get the impression I think the Torrance shootings are OK. Far from it.

1...I don't know...I think somethings wrong with the picture.

2...lack of loyalty? He was fired and then became a 'murderer'...let's be technically correct.

3...They assaulted two innocent citizens...they are criminals. When the police are held to the same standards as citizens then that argument will be valid. You said we don't have 'all' the info, not me...I have enough info to make up my mind....and you've made enough references to your buddy Boris and his paint work to make me think you think you know paint.

Stop insulting my intelligence.

You're not in control here...difficult for a cop...I know ;)

The only good thing that came out of the accidental  [roll] shooting of the paper girls, is that LA's finest couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a snow shovel, so they are both alive.

This.

Plus, saying they aren't criminal for their actions is a bit naive.  They made a bone-head call without properly assessing the situation.

Let's say I'm out in Asskrackistan and on patrol.  I know that there's been some asshat dressed up in a brown man-jams and shot up a couple of OPs.  Well let's just say that I see someone in similar man-jams walking near an OP.  Am I clear to engage them?
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Have you had sufficient training to be qualified to make that call? ;D

I'm certain every cop has. [roll]

well, if you're looking for a 270lb black man in a nissan, you shouldn't feel free to engage two hispanic women (47yo and 71yo) in a toyota.
