It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I'll look for it.  Think I may have seen previews for it.

Watching it.

The Camaro he is driving in the pilot is identical in every way to my first car except for the color. Mine was shit brown.

As for the Cold War...I have the Fallout Shelter signs from my elementary school. I remember the once a month fallout drills where we all calmly went into the basement of the school and covered our heads with our textbooks.
My first memory of Ronald Reagan was my dad taking me and my younger brother to Vets Auditorium in Des Moines during one of his campaign stops in 84. My dad got a long round of applause and a "Get that man a front row seat!" from President Reagan after yelling out some derogatory chant about Mondale/Ferraro needing to go back to Russia where they belonged.

I remember that the Russians were terrified of Ronnie. He was the biggest cowboy and the loosest canon they had ever encountered in the US presidency. And the politburo woke up in cold sweats at night thinking that lunatic had his finger on the big red trigger.

(Nothing meant politically in the above. I was a child during the late 70s/80s so my political convictions weren't all that strong. I just remember things we learned in Social Studies/Current Affairs/etc)
And I am willing to bet that I am one of the few people here to have ever used the name "Konstantin Chernenko" as a name in "Mad Libs".  [laugh]

WOW.. really?  I must be getting old.  Cold War period remains a vivid memory for me.

On 29 July 1981 I was in East Berlin, Hauptstadt der DDR.  I climbed the Berlin wall that day.

Pretty decent show so far, IMO.
