Hey Carlos, when did you pick up the 998?...

still at the shop while legal paperwork still moves along, slowly . . . since the owner at the time of being 'informed' his property was being "seized" to cash a debt, his attorney delayed the process about a month, the judge ruled in favor of the shop, since he had NOT answered to the shop in any of the 'at least' 3 calls the shop made to him regarding the bill . . .

I offered the shop, $$3500.00 but, will pay half in cash and half in "goods" . . . Shop owner, then has made a counter offer, just $1750.00 . . . 3799kms . ..

So, at this time, I had to "surrender" the bike again to the shop and not touch it until "pink slip" comes out on shop's name to then spend about $5.25 and 25mins at DMV to put it on my name !!!

Actually, I've already turned down an offer for $12.5K, so I'm not too worried.  There's a guy local to me that wanted to know how much, so he could talk to the bank.  I told him the auction's reserve is set at $14000, so...

Never thought he'd sell that one but then again it's more marketable than the KTM.

Someone may need to have a conversation with CycleCity, as asking $1k less than MSRP for a nearly 10 year old used bike may be a tough sell....though it does have some pretty nice bits on it
