I finally saw all the episode.

great storytelling

the hitchhiker... damn, that was cold.. cold as hell.

i don't know why Rick still wastes ammo.. "cover your ears".. bullshit.. why don't they all carry some kind of pike or poker for CQB with the zombies?

+5  .....I was just getting ready to give up on it, as I was very bored with this season so far. I think this episode brought some humanity/reality into the mix; made things more real with finding him, instead of just doing a flashback or something.

Loved the end when they reversed and grabbed the pack after looking at it/the road as they passed.

Still sayin' a horsemans hammer would do nicely. But yeah - something that doesn't need ammo should be on hand all the time.

The backpack pick up scene was simple, but so well done.

I said it a while back in here... some place. Tyresse is pretty close with that framing hammer. It's just needs the claw end banged together to a point, a stabby bit at the top of the head and a hole in the handle for a strap would about top it off. Eh, perhaps a pointed cap for the butt end of the handle too while I'm imagining things.
