I think I like DST.

That way when I wake up at 4 and the clock tells me it's 5...

Supposed to warm up nicely again.

We have marauding raccoons that need to be dealt with...that is an evening task...

they're too smart to come around when they can be seen.

Whats the effect of raccoons on the maraud?

We have a family of possums who commute along our front verandah EVERY night without fail (they sound like an infantry battalion in hob-nailed boots)...  hop up the fence and from there traverse the shed roof to check out if yonder fruit trees have anything to offer. 

We however check to see if there's any fruit on the trees somewhat less regularly.  Consequently the possums are fat.

Raccoons are very fond of trash.

We have a room in the barn, the old outhouse actually, where we store the trash before taking it to the transfer station. It has a window with some broken panes. The bastards climb up the outside wall and in through the window. I saw one last night but the room was empty, much to its dismay, as we had hauled the trash yesterday. It took me about a half hour to re-bag the mess.

This will not continue for very long.
